This page is dedicated to my brother Phillip M. Lara. The greatest artist I know and I am not saying that because he is my brother. Oh, there are other great artists in the family, like Allan Berman (Tim's step-father and Rachelle' dad), but I guess I am just partial to my brother. Phillip died about 15 years ago and this page is in his memory and we will include other family artist paintings as well. Stay tuned! Send me your best family artist pictures.

I will currently include only a few painting now, then later each artist will have their own artist page. I still need to find my brother's paintings, scattered all over California.

We are such a talented family. Not only in painting, but also music. Allan does a great impression of Elvis and oldie but goodies music and the Lopez family (Remy's side) when they sing Christmas carols, you would think it was the Mormon Tabernacle. Then there is our international scratcher and DJ musician DJ ShortKut (Jonathan Cruz: Remy's son). And Japan's international jazz singer Ramona Ohashi (Remy's sister).
